no, R* doesn\'t allow the multiplayer eating of other players....even though some truly deserve it.

I am now so proud to say that Great Maiden Voyage across the waters from Great Plains to Blackwater has now been taken! Very fun. And serene, too, until we veered too much to the right and got embedded upon the shore. No worries, though! Hero friend became Suicide Bomber With Horse, propelling us along once again, course the sea bed was strewn with the bodies of horses, but alas, they are now martyrs!
Subovon, thanks for helping me and my fellow crazies feel like right little sailors! Appreciated

Hey sub, whats the easiest way to go boating byyourself in free roam? I tried yesterday with a gaptooth breech stagecoach, but I failed. What I did was go to fontera bridge on the american side and see if I could boat off from there as just a test run since the bridge had like a little slope and a cliff there. It kind of was a disaster though. I tried to go down near the cliff to where the water was, not by charging off the cliff but by just driving near the water bellow it.

But as I went down I think I went too fast or it was to steep or something, since as I went down my horses came off, resulting in getting me thrown off the wagon. I survived though, and my wagon slid into the water. So I climbed up the cliff and tried to jump off and land on my wagon from it. But I just missed and drowned :(

So how would you do it byyourself?

EDIT: Just saw the backwards horse thing. On the river right now ;)

Doing it by yourself is by far the easiest way to do it and believe me, the backwards horse thing is tedious in comparison to just driving into the water (although it's cool as hell). Your horses drown, you see you character get up and jump off BUT LET IT HAPPEN. Don't touch your controller. Your character will glitch after stepping off and reappear in the driver's seat. Just let it happen without any correction on the controller and there you go down the river.

Take note of the entry points I mention in the guide but don't be afraid to explore. There is some luck involved. The launching points I included are all as "sure fire" as it gets.

Two words, mate: Thieves' Landing. You can back up your coach to one of the roofs in town, which makes it easy to get your posse on top and slowly, easily ride into the water and sail the marina. It's awesome. Report back!

Thanks for sharing your story, sailor. I hope to read more from others as well. I'm Subovon on the PSN so if anyone wants to cruise, add me (maybe mention Stagecoach or boating).

Definitely. I tell ya, that Tanner's Reach one is proving to be my biggest challenge. When trusty stagecoach arrives, the rapids rebel and the rocks embrace. *Determined*

Has anyone found a way to sail on the lake away from Blackwater? Ive always been fascinated what is beyond the shores of the dock since the game came out... Maybe you drop through a "blue hell" or something when you go too far.

I think it would be funny to set sail out on the lake and start inviting people to a posse once you get way out there. I'm sure it's possible to launch somewhere and float out there.

You can get there, I think with the stagecoach-walk-in-the-air glitch (but not sure)

Stagecoach surfing, I should be doing it again, it's been some time.

Anyone sailed on Lake Don Julio yet? I wonder if there's any current at all, since it's just a lake.

You can also put in at the bottom of Aurora Basin, where the river begins. I've seen my stagecoach do weird things in those rapids: go sideways, backwards and then get stuck. Crazy rapids.

Yeah, you can sail there by putting in from Great Plains, near Beecher's Hope. From there, you'll sail through some cool rapids and past Blackwater. Then you'll hit an invisible wall and go no further. You won't be far past the tone.

You can get on shore on the other side of the Serendipity and along there but you won't get very far either; that's the edge of the game.

WUUT VIDEO PLS

Check out the original post on this thread. I linked to several videos by other players. Most aren't great but they're helpful.

I'm working on a couple of videos but I ain't a high tech hillbilly so it's taking a while. I'll be posting better "video tutorials."

He's supposed to jump off then glitch back to the roof.

I've done that on foot due to another glitch. People drown over and over. Unless you decide to go to the land across the water.
