Wow, that was an insane climax to the season. I'm gonna have to start reading the books. I've brought the first three recently, it has totally reeled me in.

The great thing about this series that makes it different from the others is the awful fate of the heros (just wait and see who makes it to season 4) and the constant shuffling in of new characters. Also, some hated major players will become heros and vice versa...that is if the creators stay true to the books. Well, time to get ready for my wife's favorite HBO program true blood, god I hope this season is better than the last one, you'd think immortals and superhumans wouldn't be such whiney bitches

I'll wait for the DVD release... that way I can watch it at my leisure. I don't have the patience to catch episodes on the tele nowadays.

Ep1 s2 was great! I love how they build up the good characters just to snatch them away from you!

Yea but the devil is in the details, how those events happen makes it worth the wait to see if the show follows the book as closely as it did in season 1. Sure seems a though they are after just watching ep1.
I'm kinda disappointed that I know what will happen, but seeing the great screenplay applied to the story george rr wrote is great. The dwarf is my favorite character and actor on the show, can't wait til he takes out *******.

Yeah I've only just got that part in the book, so I've got a while till I get to Dance of Dragons, then he has two more on the way. Have you read them all MrYoungGun? I think The Hound is my favourite in the books so far. In the show it's gotta be Ser Jorah Mormont, great choice of actor.

I want to feed him to the Direwolves. Then I'd like to connect with God via his mother. ;)

Lol that's were I left off, storm of swords was the last one I read. The hound and the mountain are both great choices, but I still love tyrian. Daenerys's adventures kinda bored me a little, although it is a good look at the woman in the man's game. I kept waiting for her to get into the mix, but still...waiting...!
For those that haven't read the books, storm of swords is a looonnnggggg book, but its so good I couldn't put it down, I've never read one that long. This story has such great characters, and deception, it keeps you guessing wrong all the time. Tyrian will take out one of the more hated characters, or will he? The starks will conquer the lannisters right? Just ask ned if the heros/ good guys are safe!

I hate every one of the Lannisters. Except for Tyrion. But hey, I'm only on S1 E6 lol.

I just finished season 1.  Awesome show.  I find myself wanting to see more of the Dothraki story line from episode to episode though.  I'm hoping that there's alot more of them in the new season.  I'm gonna start watching season 2 tomorrow.

Prepare for disappointment, then.

2x5 has been the best episode, yet. So much happened and character pacing is working quite well. Anxious as fern to see what happens all across Westeros and Essos.
