Hawaii is so beautiful! I was in Oahu in 1994....wonder what it's like today?

It’s probably just like you remember it. A hotel or two is renovated, some restaurants have changed, but the views are the same. We first went in 1999 and my pictures don’t show a lot of change on Maui at least.

We just stopped at Laguna for a few hours on the way down to San Diego. Wish we had more time to spend there. It was beautiful. Here’s a 25 foot tall statue “embracing peace” commemorated gets the end of world war 2 with the aircraft carrier USS Midway behind. We toured the Midway and it was amazing. Many veterans acting as docents all over the ship telling stories and answering questions.
