Nostalgia Legend

Red Harlow > John Marston

That is all. :P

---

I wish Rockstar would re-release Red Dead Revolver for X360 / PS3... or maybe an "in-between" title explaining any possible connections between the story in Red Dead Revolver and Red Dead Redemption.

You agree, yes?

Red Harlow's a badass. Him and John are awesome in their own ways.

I'd love to see a re-release of Revolver, but an in-between game connecting the two wouldn't work--at least, not if it was consistent with Revolver's style. It's impossible for Redemption and Revolver to be a part of the same universe. Redemption is a continuation only in spirit, with passing references to Revolver every now and then.

I don't think it's impossible. I'm quite sure they are in the same universe. Red Harlow's story takes place about 20-30 years before John Marston's...

Red Dead Revolver and Red Dead Redemption have their own distinct settings. Revolver has all of the following...

1. A villain that has a cannon for an arm.
2. A circus ringleader who can teleport by drinking magic snake juice.
3. Midget gunslingers.
4. A man that's implied to be a zombie that carries a coffin on his back.
5. Enemies that are capable of pulling boulders out of the ground and throwing them in excess of ten meters.
6. A revolver that's capable of blowing a man's entire arm off with a single shot.

Now, would you expect to see any of these things in the canon world of Red Dead Redemption? No, you would not. Redemption is inconsistent with Revolver. It's a sequel only in spirit. The only thing that ties to two together is the western setting and references to Revolver in passing.

HD remake Revolver Rockstar, keep the splitscreen multiplayer, and also expand it online.

Oh and trophies too :juggle:

Yes, I hope that Rockstar releases this on PSN/XBL. I was trying to get the game for PS2 but it can't read disks anymore. ;(

I haven't even been able to find a worthy copy of Revolver anywhere but online...
