Liberty City has been done more times than I care to remember, Vice City was great, but I don't think I need to play it again, and I've had more than enough of San Andreas for quite a while. I really hope they go ahead and make a new setting.

Hopefully it will have a huuuuuuge map! That was one thing I liked about San Andreas - the variety of landscapes. GTAIV was all big city with some suburbs.

I hope for a new city, but as long as it isn't in Liberty City I'll be happy.

Maybe for a goof they'll do a city like Dallas, TX, so there will be all kinds of people dressed as cowboys!

But no, I really want VARIETY! Mountains, forests, deserts, big cities, small towns, Eskimo villages...  Come on Rockstar, you know what to do!

Because of the "V", many people are speculating Vegas, which Rockstar did feature in San Andreas.

Vegas is alot of suburbs. Not anything real interesting outside of the strip.

All those classic cars would be pretty cool.

Let's see, they've already done California/Nevada (San Andreas), Florida (Vice City), and New York (Liberty City). So I'm guessing either cornfields in Iowa or... WASHINGTON DC!  Yeah, that would be way cool.

In Destroy all Humans you go to Washington DC and do crazy shit there. It wasn't much though.

Detroit, Baltimore (GTA: The Wire), New Orleans or somewhere outside the U.S. would be ideal.

I seriously doubt it will take place before 2000. With the introduction of cell phones in GTA IV and all the new gameplay elements tied to it(side quests, friend activities) it would mean they'd have to drop a lot of the things that made GTA IV great. And I honestly don't think they'll choose a real life city as a setting, given their tradition of using entirely fictional locations in the GTA series. It would be a betrayal to change that so late in the series.

\"Fill your hand, you son-of-a-bitch.

Well yeah, we're talking about what the city would be based on. Every fictional city has clearly been based on a particular real city. And of course there were the London games, which were set in...London.

The rumors this summer were of Los Santos, based on the casting calls from Rockstar.
Who knows?

Oh wait, wasn't your gang's color in San Andreas green? Maybe it is that.

Could be DC though.

It should take place in Northern Ireland.

They would only make it in America because they could just keep using the same techniques, Like they wouldn't do other side of the road driving and stuff like that...

Washington DC? Do you know the controversy they'd get if you could shoot up/blow up Americas Capitol City?
