In the new Gamestop Commercial you can see a few skins on a wall and on one building a pair of Moose Antlers.

They can't be Elk because the top parts or wider where Elks are thinner, like a deer's but a lot bigger.

Elk^

Moose^

I'm happy cuz I would love to hunt me some Moose :D

That's the thing, I mentioned it in the Moose Section I added to the original post, maybe in Western Elizabeth? Right now, present day there are no Moose that far south (i don't believe) so maybe there was in 1911. I certainly don't know. The horns could be there just for decoration and not mean Moose are in the game but I hope they are in the game.

Not sure if you guys saw this or not, but found this tweet from R*... here.

~ They're planning on releasing a wildlife feature a week or 2 before the game's release. So that means next week or so!

I'm gonna move this thread to the General Chatter board (I think it fits better, since animals are a universal aspect of the game and exist outside of hunting).

I'm also gonna sticky it.

A  bit of quick research shows that the Shirasi moose range is goes as far south as Colorado. We have heard that West Elizabeth is based on the Rocky Mountain area (Colorado perhaps), so moose in the game is very possible.

Moose Subspecies
Common name   Binomial   Range
European Moose   A. a. alces   Finland, Sweden, Norway, Estonia and Russia. Extirpated from central and western Europe except for Poland, Lithuania and Belarus, but can be observed in Bohemia since the 1970s. (Range formerly included France, Germany, and Benelux nations.)
Eastern Moose   A. a. americana   eastern Canada and northeastern United States
Western Moose   A. a. andersoni   western Canada, Michigan (Upper Peninsula), northern Wisconsin, northern Minnesota, northeastern North Dakota
Siberian Moose   A. a. cameloides   eastern Siberia, Mongolia, and Manchuria
Alaska Moose   A. a. gigas   Alaska and Yukon. Largest subspecies.
Shiras Moose   A. a. shirasi   Wyoming, Idaho, Utah, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Montana.[7] Smallest subspecies.

Great job and like I said in the Moose section, "but it's worth noting Elk have a similiar range and they are in the game so..." It's very likely they will be in West Elizabeth.

Great research on the moose guys!  I think it would amazing to hunt a huge moose.  Think of the damage they'd cause if they charged.   Would definitely be a great addition to the game, and really hope they're in.

Wow, I love the look of it. I imagine if you get bitten your health will slowly drain and you'll have to get medicine to cure it.
I wonder if there'll be different types of snakes? I can't think how they would be different though, except for appearence and damage done.
Also RStar4? OWNED!

If youve been on the wikipedia you may have past through the horse breed section. Theres a paragraph mentioning the doubt that draft horses such as the clydesdale and the shire will not be inclued due to the heavy feathering around their hooves however mabye this screenshot suggest otherwise, note the horse to the far left

Thanks for this info Cipher! It's going to be fun to go hunting. Actually, I think that will be a rather enjoyable past time in this game. Just go hunting and think about little else save if you find a bear, that would be bad.

In the Life in the West video the narrator mentions animals preying on one another.
