Would OPTIONAL MP3 Button Layout work in RDR
« on: June 21, 2012, 04:52:51 AM »
Sorry for another Max Payne comparison thread, but that's not the case.

The way I see it, it looks like this.
Instead of tapping the sprint button in SP, why not hold it? Multi has it, but why not SP? Instead of rolling by pushing the square/X button, why not double tap X/A button while aiming.
Since this game has no shootdodge, I'd left the cover button as it is. But there's a problem with taunting in Multi.
You can only do it when not holding any weapon, so wouldn't it be nice if we could do it by using triangle/Y button when not near the horse? Or at least it could be triggered automatically after reaching certain kill streaks.

Any thoughts?

only problem with the tauntbutton is that people don't use it enough.

Umm...you can hold the A button to sprint and maintain the speed you are running/riding/driving wagons in SP.  I think having only the X button for rolling is enough for me ....there's too many buttons to mash as it is. Anyway I don't really like the controls in MP3....took me a while to get used to it.

I know, but some of the button layouts are like the fixed version of the current one.
