Any "mature" posse's around?
« on: September 20, 2012, 10:59:44 AM »
I'm a noob at this game, but I'd be more comfortable joining a posse that's made up of more adult members. Does anyone but teenagers play this game??
Thanx!   :)

Hello  :)

RDR is a great game in that aspect that a lot of women and older people play it compared to many other games. Here at the forums we have quite many members that fall into the mature category (at least agewise :P). What game modes do you enjoy and what aim mode do you predominantly use?

I'm playing through the missions and challenges in RDR using the casual aim mode and the few times I've explored multiplayer I used normal aim.
I'm using PS3 with a PS3 headset.
When joining a posse during an online session, do you remain a member of that posse after logging off of multiplayer, or do you have to rejoin at every session?

you leave the posse if you change session. Unless the posseleader changes session, he takes everybody with him.

First thing you need to realise is that age does not garner maturity

The what is the point of joining a posse/clan if you have to rejoin every time you log into multiplayer.  There may be no one from your posse/clan on at the time (??)
 ::) I don't get it.

The point? You can play together but leave if you don't want to play with them anymore ;) you mean posses you can form online right? With random people you don't know?

We have posses here as well, we can join eachother online offcourse. You can invite friends through your in-game friendlist.

When joining a posse during an online session, do you remain a member of that posse after logging off of multiplayer, or do you have to rejoin at every session?

The in-game posses are temporary ones, anybody can start one and any random people can be invited, and anyone in a posse can leave it at any time. They are not permanent, and you can join or start a new posse every time you are online. Advantages for in-game posses are that people can hear each other even when far away, posse leader can set waypoints on the map that everybody see, posse leader can take everyone to a different game mode or a different session. Friends posse up for convinience, but also total strangers ask random people in sessions to their posse.

They are not clans or the gangs/posses that we have here at the forums, it's totally different.

Hey, I'm 27 despite the image on my sig. I know, I look at lot old. So suit so! :P

Seriously, I like to play for fun, not so much to win. Would be looking for others to play with.

The MadMen only accept adults.

However, this is merely a chronological thing. We deny any accusation of 'maturity' 8)
