Yeah I heard about that man.  Its funny because the week before the Supreme Court had ruled against expanded police power in another case, then they rule favorably on this one.  The other case they ruled that police couldn't detain people just anywhere.  It was a case of a guy who the police had a search warrant on his home, and as part of it arrested him where he was at.  The court ruled that the search warrant only applied to the place being searched and was not a blanket warrant to search anywhere imaginable.

Then right after that the rule in favor of expanded police powers in this area.... Just seems very.... inconsistent.

I am just amazed at the cops and guys like this.

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/gavin-shulman/the-deficit-why-we-should_b_2836835.html?utm_hp_ref=politics&ir=Politics

Because people don't see how the debt actually effects their lives.  Its same as what i wrote a few days ago about how no one shows up in DC to protest a job they could have had that never came into existence due to minimum wages.  the deficit is the same.

Once a country's deficit reaches 90 percent of GDP the economy grows 1% slower every year.  In America or debt is presently 99% of GDP.  That's a difference of 1.5 million lost jobs every year.  Not total.  Every year over a million jobs are never going too exist due to our debt.  That would solve the jobs crisis real quick wouldn't it?

Are you basing your beliefs of one vague system on one article?

Let's all address peoples ideas not critique the forum member themselves please.  It only makes us all respond defensively then things go down hill.

Yeah man I didn't mean my comment as an attack. I genuinely thought it was obvious it was not for real, but I was wrong. You're correct it wasn't labeled satire or sarcasm.

Sorry about that, but... well, I find it hard to believe that you know so little about the ideals or beliefs of a group you are totally confident are wrong. Do you see what I'm saying? To be clear I believe that your political beliefs are totally valid for you and I applaud you for having such faith in them. However, I refuse to believe you have such little knowledge of liberals as you claim here. Further more who even said that article was representing a liberal viewpoint?

That said I still apologize for causing you to feel the need to go on the defensive despite that not being my intention.
