Hunting Elk problem
« on: May 10, 2013, 01:49:29 PM »
How do you hunt elk without being attacked by grizzlys? I also can barely find them. i know they are up near Nekoti Rock and where the bighorns are on the map west of bearclaw. But I hardly see them and always get killed by grizzlys.

If you keep getting into trouble, learn to use your horse...
...stay on your horse and always stay on the move to stay away from grizzly attacks.  If you get attacked, your horse will give you time by dying and you can either run away or shoot the grizzly down.  Running and rolling and changing direction at the right time will keep you alive against any predatory animal in RDR!  Tomahawks seem to be an easy kill on the giant bears!  Try that by throwing them into their heads.

There are a lot of elk near Manzanita Post and if you get into trouble you could retreat back to the post quickly.
