Here's to hoping Rockstar actually takes care of their multiplayer for this game.

I think the past couple games (Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne) have certainly been more than acceptable in the MP value.

That is actually good. There are people who rush straight to online to be the leaderboard leaders from the start and to gain an advantage right away when most people play single player first.
On the other hand so many people will be ready and going to go online at that date that is isn't going to be even funny, eek lag crashed servers.

The leader boards will be topped by modders anyway, they always are.

A hard life on the frontier does these things to a man. Although that is irrelevant as I never lived on the frontier.

I have no problem with it. Takes out the distraction of the multiplayer to play some single player.

Analysis video has a bit more details on it that you may have not known:

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBqHxtt5ZIc" target="_blank">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iBqHxtt5ZIc</a>

A lot of it sounds cool, but at the same time, I can't help but to think there will be the griefing we found in previous Rockstar games will continue here as well. Hell I even ran across this comment on Youtube:

Such a charitable soul. Good thing there is always the option to go after him and throw a pissy fit guns blazing.

A couple things there I didn't really like, such as I need to take my money to a bank or I can be robbed, and the heist money distribution thing.

Exactly my main problem with it. Especially with all of the douchebags you can find in these sort of games.

Yeah. It sounds a lot like a co-op mode, so why this I don't understand the money distribution. Maybe a lame attempt at incorporating the vendetta thing from MP3 when you're screwed over.
Ohwell. We'll see how it plays out. This kind of mode (co-op) interests me so it would be sad if I had to limit it to playing with friends only.

A lot of new info from various interviews and hands on previews, a summary here:
http://www.gtav.net/news/4561/gta-online-gameplay-video-amp-previews

A few more things I don't really care about in there, but again, have to see how it turns out really. Plus I have to actually read some of the interviews to see if there is a clarification to some of the summary points.

On some parts it really sounds like a second single player, and I'm not too sure about this change. But hey, maybe I'll love it.
I'd rather be cautiously pessimistic (glass is always half empty!) and be positively surprised than be hyper optimistic and get dissappointed.

In any case, no matter what I'm sure there is a ton of things to do and fun to be had regardless of a couple things I won't care for.
(Like what is this?:
-You will have contacts available at anytime that will provide different services on or off mission, as you rank higher you will have access to characters with new and stronger abilities. Examples of such are being hidden from the radar and setting a bounty on another player if you're being chased.
- You can call up a private security firm to bring in an airstrike, i.e. destroy street races.)

Shut the fuck up about xbox having modders. You don't even know what it feels like for us. BTW no one gives a crap about your comments that does not even make fucking sense.
