Right wing parties gain ground in European Parliament
« on: May 26, 2014, 08:28:58 AM »
Remarkable victories in France by Front National, the UK by UK Indepence Party and several other countries following this trend. Euroscepticism is definitely on the rise throughout most of europe.

I still believe in the European Union as a force to make Europe a strong and united economic force but nothing more than that. I definitely believe we should rethink the European Union.

Oh yes. Glad to see fourth parties winning more seats than one of our actual ruling parties. Looks like UKIP aren't going to join the same coalition as Front National in the parliament though.

Remarkable indeed, altough the Dutch PVV lost a seat, they weren't expecting that.
I hope, but doubt this will bring any changes in favor of the people.

The UKIP are dick heads... I agree with Uca, EU is good but should be dialed back a bit.

The UK referendum on EU membership is stupid though, it's only going to hurt the economy and it'll get voted down, Cameron's backbenchers are twats pushing for something that will only hurt the UK. Honestly the election last month could not have gone any worse in my opinion, Scotland will now definitely leave the UK within 5 years and the UK will be crippled economically. The Tories should enjoy their short lived victory while it lasts cause it's only downhill from here.

SNP's could not have asked for a better election though, I gotta give it to them. It'll be sad to see the UK break apart because we couldn't compromise. Cameron needs to step up and give Scotland what he promised us... It's all up to him now...

Can I vote in Europe stuff now? I mean, Australia is part of Europe now. At least according to Eurovision.

hey man. portuegese carrot salad is delicious.

In all seriousness, I hope the UK leaves the european union so we can all have a little crisis in parliament and reevaluate the giant farce it has become. Did they even think this was gonna work during a serious economic crisis?

Did you guys read about belgium introducing the 2,5 euro coin with a waterloo icon despite france being against it? Real nice union we got here.
