Introducing Mentions

I'm glad to introduce a new functionality mod I have added to the site. Its called Mentions.

It allows you to "tag" other members in your posts. Simply type the @ symbol, followed by their username. As you type, a list of usernames will appear and narrow down your search, so you can be sure you're typing it correctly. Once you have posted they will be able to see it under the Mentions page on their profile (see image below).
The "tag" will also become a direct link to that persons profile. Neat huh?

You also have the ability to turn on email notifications for when you are mentioned.

That's not technically true. Its more the people who when you type @ have too similar names before the name (such as TWO) and therefore you can't click the selection menu on their name, like TWO Many Skills. However you can manually do it. If you insert their user number within the Member tag, it should work.
Like this:

TWO Many Skills has the member number 16057. So.....

@TWO Many Skillz

@You can even get creative with the link text

EDIT: Even better. I have fixed the issue where it now won't disappear after you hit space. Now you can get in on the action. @TWO Many Skillz
