I will still play in private sessions.  It just pisses me off that these modders have to ruin the game for everyone just because of their freeze/mod wars.

The good thing about being backwards compatible on the Xbox one is it's easy to record and grab evidence of what they're doing. Would that potentially help get their gamer tag banned?

Plenty of footage documenting the cheaters out there. But R* simply hasn't given a shit.

For some contrast...

True to their word, Blizzard have already begun to permanently ban all those who attempt to cheat in Overwatch, leaving over 1500 players locked out so far.

It’s been a week since the release of Blizzard’s new first-person shooter Overwatch and already the company has begun to bring down the ban hammer in a serious way.

Since May 24, more than 1500 people in China have been removed from the game permanently, with several players posting on popular hacking forums about how they can’t fool Overwatch‘s cheat detection system. All 1572 banned players in China have been named and shamed in a post to Blizzard’s forums, and PC Gamer has posted several screen-captures of forum posts, indicating that the company’s anti-cheating systems are no joke.

That’s not all, however. A PC Gamer report mentions that Blizzard is banning cheaters not only once, but several times. This means if you’ve cheated, buying a new copy might not be enough. Several users are reporting that Blizzard banned them again after they bought a new copy. A few even tried buying a 3rd copy and yet they got banned within 24 hours of playing the game.

Yeah I've been recording cheaters for years and sending it to Rockstar.  Despite multiple responses and even them admitting its pretty solid proof, they never once banned a single one.

Instead..... Rockstar commended them.

I think thats the most disappointing thing. If they were actively banning or seeking to ban those that are modding then at least it would show they do care about the game/servers still.

Modders have multiple accounts and most likely have several consoles....they must spend a fortune trying to cover their tracks!  How can Rockstar or Microsoft possibly keep up with them?

I stopped long ago trying to report them.  All I do is try to avoid or block them but they still end up in my session!

Had myself a little RDR Saturday morning, it felt good to get involved again in one of those free 4 all free roam wars at Macfarlanes.......... then disaster.  I possed up with some randoms to cruise gang hideouts, we got to Fort Mercer and a player rolled up and killed all 6 of us at the same time...... with a melee knife.

Why did I think it was already available? I thought I heard a while back it was available through the Playstation Plus program or something.

Just got on, seems to work (although I barely do). Doesn't this just prove they are bunch of bastards who only felt motivated to fix it in order to promote RD2? Not that I don't look forward to RD2. Anyway, if you are looking for a born again noob, invite me :)

Just got word that it's broken again on Xbox....can anyone confirm?  Haven't been playing it lately....too busy with GTA5. And I'm in too good a mood about the new RDR to even care! LOL!
