Kingdom Come Deliverance
« on: February 23, 2018, 07:08:37 PM »
Kingdom Come Deliverance is a real life open world game without the monsters or magic of the Witcher ... not that it's trying to be a Witcher knock-off because it isn't ... you play the son of a blacksmith who has to learn how to survive and take care of business in his brutal world ... the game is based on real events from history with loads of information provided in the Codex of the game ... here is a link to the games web page for more information https://www.kingdomcomerpg.com/ ... i suggest if your interested in the game take a little time to read some reviews or watch some gamers streaming it on one of the media sites before you make a choice ...

I'm pretty excited to play this, although I have yet to pick it up. It's about time someone made a proper medieval RPG.

I was sold on that and ready to pick it up later today until I saw it’s first person.

Is it difficult for developers to have a first and third person option like Skyrim?

just so you know the game save system is different in that you have to have a certain potion in your inventory to use the menu save and they are used every time you save that way ... so if you don't save sometimes a game loading bug could cause you to lose a big chunk of game play ... only other way to save is to use your bed which means if your out and about you might have a long ride or walk before you can save your game ... over all it's not going to be for everyone with all the buggyness but they are working to patch them ...

yes it is first person, but there is a reason for it in the combat system ... you have armor choices with helmets that can restrict your view ... meaning the better the protection usually the more restricted your view is ... the only way to make this system work is in 1st person, sorry ... like i suggested before though, go watch some game play videos before you make your choice ...
