Things that were legal in RDR1 but not in RDR2
« on: October 30, 2018, 12:16:39 PM »
Things that now get you in trouble with the law.

For example;

Standing on the roof of a train,

Or

Accidentally bumping into a lawman.

Oh man, the amount of times I've done that is insane. And no amount of telling the law that they ran out in front of you seems to work.

Happens all the time, fully expecting the NPC's to have some phony insurance scam going on, and the law is in cahoots.

Saint Denis is a rough one to travel through early. So many NPCs and so many of them talking shit. I've found that if I don't run away from these tough guys, I get goated into a gun fight which in turn leads to a bounty. Doesn't matter if I'm defending myself, I always end up with a bounty. I simply don't have the coin or the fire power to handle this the way I want to, yet.

Well, have you tried to let the NPC attack you and then going for cover? If it works like in for example GTA IV, the police and/or other will intervene.

Lol,

Even if you whistle for your horse and it knocks someone over on its way, you get a bounty!

Seems like you can hand yourself over to the law. Yesterday i got a bounty apperently just for standing in cherifs office. I could give up, but only for minor crimes. But i loaded last save. I sure hope the law is not as retarded as in gta v where you could be killed for just minding your own business..

Was driving a wagon through Saint Denis...big mistake.  I got caught in a traffic jam, bumped into the cart ahead of me and got a bounty for "Vandalism".  Seriously, game?????

And now I'm attacked by a gang of four O'Driscolls...I defend myself and kill them and bam...bounty.  Ugh.

I got a wanted level because I was trying to get off my horse, hit the wrong button, and kicked someone in the head.

The law are retarded,  we don't get thrown in jail.

where as in RDR1 story, John Marston (or Jack) got arrested in an animation cut scene and woke up in jail.
