What's in your stable?
« on: November 08, 2018, 02:27:14 PM »
What's in your stable?

In mine right now, there's the Silver Turkoman (Bonding 4), the Silver Dapple Missouri Foxtrotter (Bonding 4), the unique Mustang you can catch in Rio Bravo (Bonding 4), the grey Andalusian from the Van Horn Stable (Bonding 2). All female.
What horses do you have and why?

Apparently my original Kentucky whatever it was has been just hanging around waiting for my new horse to die.  I whistled after my current horse died and he came running up without a saddle ready to be there for me.  I don’t deserve this kind of love.

White Arabian
War Horse
Thoroughbred (brindle)
Tennessee Walker (dapple bay)

I currently have a Nokota (blue roan) following me as my alternate horse.  I want an American Paint and an Appaloosa but have no room.  Gonna try to hitch some up at camp since I have the upgraded hitching post.  I just can't bring myself to get rid of any of the ones I have bonded with.
This sure beats milking cows!

What's the most beautiful horse on your opinion? I've now ridden almost all the horses in the game and in my opinion the Turkomans look the best, the brown one especially. Close second would be the unique Mustang.
I just can't bring myself to like the Arabians. They are so tiny and have weird heads and butts. And they are so skiddish, even at high bonding levels.

Well, to my surprise...I found my dappled black Thoroughbred that I lost earlier in the game at the Valentine stables! Only thing different is that SHE turned into a HE!

Is it the one that comes with the Ultimate Edition? Then yes, those horses go back to Valentine, even if you sell or lose them. I found the War Horse there.

Signed the adoption papers for Othello today, currently the only horse I have stabled. Still need to figure out what to use him for, set me back over $1000!  (whip)

Savage man, I'm assuming you'll be getting a war class horse based off the name, so what breed are you going for?

I'll stick with Arabians, I don't love their appearance but their speed is a big plus as I'm literally racing to finish SP.

I'm loving my Arabian, the war horses would be sick for online though I'm going to have different horses for different things/activities in online.

I also have a female Missouri Fox Trotter with an Amber Champagne coat that goes by the name of Dora.

I love the horses but I've come to the conclusion that the game wants me to kill all bounty Hunter horses for loot as in gold nuggets it bothered me at first but profitable, this is all horses of NPC killed

And all sumbitches that kick me after ten bloody minutes of petting

You can murder whole gangs outright, but hurt a horse? The game says that's bad karma.

I have this glorious beast, Bear Bain, it's brother shawdowmere died from lead poisoning.

As mentioned in another thread, after some testing I came to the conclusion that the Mustang is the bravest breed in the game. So, this thicc beauty has been my main ever since. I still call her Poop Factory.

I wish I could own more horses.  I tend to be a hoarder.
