You need to use “copy post link” not “copy link”

You want to get the link from Imgur that ends .jpg. If the link you get doesn’t have .jpg you can manually type it when you copy the link to the forums.

Another option is as per the below , I find if I’m using my phone the desktop version of imgur works well there is a forum friendly share link starting with the image tag [img

thanks, yeah, I did add .jpg at the end because I used one of your screenshots as an example but for some reason it didn't appear. maybe copy post was what I was missing. No big deal. thanks for the help.
