Its Friday, the start of the weekend...… which means relaxing on RDO.

And its been great, finally had an ambush situation in free roam. I would of preferred a gang hideout to spawn up...… but after the giving the bandits what-for, I looted them all and collected a treasure map.

Had some good nostalgic fun with Pug and Floof playing RDR1 co-op missions! Thanks for that, guys!

It’s still a lot of fun. There are definitely things better about the new game, but the original has its own charms. I didn’t realize how much I’d missed the character taunts. Head shots were predictable and satisfying.

Definitely fun!  Couple PvP matches, couple gang hideouts, couple co-op missions.

Sorry for not reviving better in co-op, I'll be more attentive in the future  ;D

Out of curiosity, is there still people in lobbies in RDR1? And is it still broken as before?

Populated, and way better than I left it a few years ago.

No broken matches or free roam session for us.  A little lag in pvp, couple small teleports and an occasional double-roll from opponent.

Free roam seemed full of mostly new players, but we didn't spend much time there.

I load into RDO and spend 5 mins in free roam to see what pops up in the gameplay...…. And there is nothing.

so its then switch to GTAO.

With the area Tall Trees, in West Elizabeth being much more of an dense forest. it can be a nightmare getting stuck in there trying to get back onto the Great Plains.

So here is a challenge:

Get yourself right in the centre of the forest.
Turn off the mini map.
Close your eyes and spin your character round.
Now try and get out of the forest.

(maybe even try and wait for night and/or foggy weather)

That was a fun challenge on RDO this evening...…. remade a mission from RDR1.

Mr Fisherman pulled it off in 2012,  now here is the 2019 version.

Finally got to level 50 last night on RDO. Haven't really cared or had any kind of motivation to level up until they had the 30% XP boost this week and the gold bar bonus last week....so I took advantage of it. Must have leveled up about 15 levels in the past 2 weeks....which is a lot for me. I've been grinding the 2 stranger missions (Sadie and Flaco) up in the Grizzlies and timing it perfectly back to back. And for some reason everyone eventually left the session or got disconnected and left me with my own private session for a couple of hours. It was GREAT!!!! Some of those stranger missions give you a ton of XP....a heck of a lot more than story missions!

I'm almost a 73 now....just by grinding stranger missions (only up in the Grizzlies because hardly anyone goes up there). I have the Dark Bay Turkoman.....great horse! I wanted to get the Fox Trotter, but everyone has that one. Wish it had a different coat. They need to bring in more horses....either more coat options or different breeds.

Who else is holding onto their money/gold for whenever they add more stuff? Or do you just spend it as fast as you make it?

Still hoping that they add private sessions. There is a solo lobby glitch but I can't get it to work.

Even though I stay away from PvP....I agree that they need to separate all the different game modes!
