I use slow and steady , the head shot protection is handy , but I’ve been rolling with “quite an inspiration” for team games (when DE is active your team mates heal - TBH In the land of the headshot this is pretty ineffective)

I am still experimenting with cards , I leveled the short game, winning streak and I’m working on necessity breeds (closer to death you deal more damage)

I had eye for an eye but struggled to see the benefit (Kills restore DE) also  strange medication ( you heal when you deal damage) is dubious because if I get killed it is by HS rather than body shots so healing cards are pretty underwhelming IMO.

I've had a lot of trouble in finding the "right" cards. You're right Craig, the healing cards are VERY underwhelming. I've tried leveling up slippery bastard but it drains WAY to quickly. It's fun to use though, people go into panic mode when they can't lock onto you!! Had a guy screaming into the mic the other day saying I was cheating because he couldn't lock onto me.

Slow and steady is still the most powerful deadeye card.  Meows bad more are using it, but very few still know how to counteract it.   Never without one is by far my most valued card aside from that, the hat has saved my bacon many times.  If you set a posse outfit you spawn back with a hat every life.

Aim & shoot

Doesn’t matter if the person you shoot at has S&S or never without or both.

Slow and steady.  Makes you immune to headshots.

I've been using the bow alot because of the slow and steady/never without one builds.

My loadout usually is:
slow and steady (survivability, and it steadies the reticle from moving all around if you're recently injured)
never without one (survivability)
eye for eye (I rarely* use tonics so headshots give more needed deadeye, I'll be testing that soon though, it's not much)
unblinking eye (deadeye lasts about 30% longer at card level 3, at least with my testing, not sure of the exact buff percentage)

I tested the Eye for an Eye card yesterday, and again with fisherman's help this morning.

The tool tip says : headshots restore some deadeye.  In testing though it needs to be a headshot kill.  Headshotting someone using the hat protection or slow and steady gives zero deadeye without the kill

But when you get the kill it gives alot, approximately double what a normal kill gives.  Using level 3 restores 25% of the outer ring.

So, using very rough math, if you are using lvl 3 eye for an eye every headshot kill gives 6-7 seconds of deadeye time, if you are using level 3 unblinking eye as well, the same kill will yield 9-10 seconds of deadeye time.

Conclusion for me is that these cards are quite good for most situations, exceptions only being if you use alot of shotguns, bows, or melee (name your weapon modes in particular) or are using tonics frequently.  In that case other cards would make more sense.

Hopefully that helps someone.
