Site Suggestions & Bug Reports / Re: How are we doing?
« on: August 14, 2018, 03:19:54 PM »
I agree completely, but on the other hand, without Kryten/Chalk digging into his own pocket to keep the place alive for goodness knows how long, this place would have died a long time ago and for that reason, I can’t criticise anyone (and I’m not suggesting you are by the way).

I noticed that the website formerly known as reddead.us, now known as reddead.net, is also down right now too. Are there any active RDR forums around nowadays?

Canis Canem Edit 2 would be great.

Hope the house move goes smoothly.

3 months until release day. I thought activity would have picked up around here by now.

What was this place like 3 months before RDR was released?

I also just picked up a one year subscription for PS plus for £25 although I haven’t used the code yet. It may end up waiting until RDR2 is released.

I heard about that last week. Something to look forward to indeed but how many years away? 6? 7??

Will, you need to play the DLC’s, they’re bloody good.

I didn’t think we had much chance of beating Belgium and really didn’t care if we finished 3rd or 4th as it’ll soon be forgotten anyway. I switched off the TV as soon as the game finished yesterday but I imagine the winning team got 3rd place medals or something, but not sure.

#You'reGoingHome

Nothing satisfies my Australian rivalry needs like a cocky English team getting knocked out.

I don’t think the team were cocky in the slightest, they all came across as very humble to me. Only a relatively small portion of the fans were cocky but even less actually believed we could have beaten France should we have made the final.

I’m down the local boozer so can’t contribute as much as I’d like.

We’re going to win this match, mark my words.

Or we might not.

I was 15 years old and in high school in 1996. I remember that game well and remember being gutted when we lost.

Let’s hope there’s no repeat tonight. VINDALOO!!

Just got back from the pub. Great atmosphere, great result. Nice one.

I watched the whole match but couldn’t decide who I wanted to win. I like Belgium more but I also think they’re a better team. If by some miracle England make the final, I think I’d have rather played Brazil.

To watch the match down the pub? Probably not.

There are about 7 or 8 pubs within walking distance of my house but I won’t be visiting any of them tomorrow. I’ve told the wife no and she knows that when I say no, I mean no!

So, what’s everybody doing for the big match on Saturday? After not showing the slightest bit of interest previously, my wife now wants us all to go to the pub to watch it together but I don’t really want to do that. I’m happy to just watch it at home with a few bevvies. I may have to put my foot down.

You speak fluent English so you must be a fan of the English football team too.

I’ve calmed down now, but Chalk really knows how to push my buttons 😡 (btw, I’m not being serious and rarely am).

Discord is even less active than this forum so no point going there.

Who's fault is that? I mean I am normally around to chat whenever I am home, and when I am at work I could probably reply periodically.

What's the saying? You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it talk to friends.

Don’t get the arse with me, I’m not blaming anyone (although it’s clearly your fault), I’m just saying it’s dead.
