Happy Birthday, VMB!  Hope you have a great day!

Official News / Re: Release date announced! October 26th 2018!
« on: July 26, 2018, 03:03:52 PM »
3 months until release day. I thought activity would have picked up around here by now.

What was this place like 3 months before RDR was released?

I know it, Sile...I hope that people haven't given up on this place! :(

Good luck with your moving, Craigy and congrats on your new house!

I really think that Max Payne 4 should be the next Rockstar game release.

Right now Xbox live gold is on sale through the Microsoft site. 1 year for $40/£26.

Yea, I saw that....never fails, almost always goes on sale when I already bought it in May!  2 months too late...if it was like a couple of weeks to a month or two BEFORE my gold is ready to expire, then I would get it.

Just got Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction for free on Games with Gold.  Combat mechanics are really weird! Left trigger is aim, but only in cover, so I keep crouching when not in cover. Marking enemies is sort of like dead eye in RDR, but you have to perform a takedown to get to mark 2 enemies and only 2. Glad it was free. It was made in 2010 - same as RDR - shows how much Rockstar is leaps and bounds ahead of the competition!  Really anxious to see what the combat mechanics will be like in RDR2!!

Hopefully the fist-fighting mechanics will be improved. Like not dying from just a couple of hits....maybe instead you just pass out for a bit and wake up in the street or at the doctor's office.  Or maybe you will have to stop fighting when the law gets after you.  That would be much more realistic.

Just got done watching Josey Wales with Eastwood....and I can't help thinking ...gawd, I can't wait for that damn game to come out already. So, I don't need much to get me pumped up! LOL!

I know, VMB....I so miss Fergie talking about how hot his GTA character is and how he wishes he could have his character in RDR2. Yup, I really miss all that.....

You better be careful, Sile.....someone will sabotage your user name and really piss ya off!

Feck that, I’m outta here.

OK, now I know you really are sound like Ferg! LOL! But, you had me going there for a minute!

The little green square next to your name indicates that you are online on the forum....unless you choose to hide offline.

Just get an Xbox One and you can chat with your Xbox friends!  LOL!  Just teasin' ya...  Well, I heard that Xbox will make it where you can chat with your friends whether they are on console or on the Windows 10 Xbox app....I thought that that was already possible but maybe they are making improvements or something. I do have a Steam account but haven't really checked it out much - my computer is old and I doubt that any of those games will run smoothly.  I tried Discord, but don't really care for it.  I like my Xbox parties or game chat.

Magnum, PI!! That was my favorite show...saw every episode!

Just got home from work. Having a little late dinner and getting ready to fire up the Xbox soon!

Can't wait until RDR2 is finally here....I am looking forward to getting immersed in a game again. Spending hours everyday playing. Just hope that others will too......

Red Dead Redemption 2 / Rockstar Games was at E3 2018
« on: June 15, 2018, 09:41:14 PM »
Supposedly there was a private showing of RDR2 game play at E3. Seems to me that it won't be long now before we get to see it too!

Assassin's Creed Odyssey looks great and I like how you get to choose either a male or female character!  It looks like they enhanced the fighting mechanics a little bit. But, overall if it's anything like Origins I am sure it will be a hit. I might not get it day one, but it will be on my wish list!

I am also slightly interested in The Division 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 has me intrigued.  But, what I am so very jealous about is Death Stranding being exclusive to PS4! I am so freaking interested in what the heck that game is about!? If any of you get must stream the entire game so I can see it! LOL!

I didn't watch much of E3, I just looked up the videos for the games I have interest in and that's it really.  No other game, IMO, can top RDR2 right now.

Forgot to mention Days Gone....that looks pretty good!  But, yet another PS4 exclusive!  It just ain't fair!

There really is no other game that I am interested in at the moment other than RDR2.

Only thing I like to find out more about is Assassin's Creed Odyssey which takes place in Greece.

And, I am jellies of those in areas that can get spring-time weather! Here in FL, we are in full-blown summer with all the wonderful heat and humidity. Already getting the afternoon showers/storms that go away sometimes in minutes.

I have not been working so many hours except when it's convenient for my employer (retail) to give me more hours when it's busy. Looking to find work elsewhere, but it's not so easy for me.  In my spare time, I still get on the old xbox....been dividing my time between Far Cry 5 and AC Origins and I am still a loyal GTA5 Online player.  As much as I love all those games I have been playing, somehow it seems that I'm in limbo waiting....waiting for that game I just can't stop playing....waiting for RDR2!!  Do any of you guys feel that way, too?

Chalk, I am definitely interested in participating in whatever events you have planned for RDR2. Well, when I far as finding time after work and dealing with different time zones. I am looking forward to playing RDR2 with everyone here.  If I am not one of the streamers, I would like to be a part of whatever is going on! I can't wait and I am sure it's going to be fun!

The only channel on Mixer I have for Red Dead Forums is the one you set up in the TEAM that the same one you're talking about or is it a different one?

Well, welcome back!  Let's hope that RDR2 brings back more of the older members.

I keep hearing reports about how awful the ending was and that there's more than one that kinda makes me hesitant to finish it.  But, every time I start getting into's like I can't stop. The missions tie into more missions and then those stupid peggies interrupt me on my travels and I am addicted to finding prepper stashes! Oh, and let's not forget about finding new fishing holes....gotta stop and catch a fish or two. And those damn wolverines!  Only thing I'm having a hard time doing is those stinking Clutch Nixon stunt missions.

I really, really wish I could find the time to get into streaming games and get more comfortable doing it.  Work gets me so stressed out and tired sometimes I don't even have the energy to game at all (unless I have some coffee to jump start myself) soon as I sit in the recliner I can't keep my eyes open.  Getting old.....the struggle is real!

Red Dead Redemption 2 / Re: Pre-order info for Xbox
« on: June 04, 2018, 05:01:24 PM »
You know, I used to think the same way...I always preferred a physical copy.  Now I am getting lazy, I like to just be able to click the little tile on the screen instead of getting up to change the disc.  LOL, I lazy I am!  And, if I play this game as much as I played the first RDR (well, of course I will and more) I don't want the disc to get scratched up and chipped like my old RDR. Also, I have 2 Xboxes now and game share with the hubby (and another friend), so it's like getting 2 games for the price of one!
