Group stages over and done with, now the fun begins.

Who'd have thought that Northern Ireland, Republic, Wales and England would all progress?

Here's hoping that with the exception of Wales, we can all progress even further.

The Banditos of the West / GTAV
« on: September 28, 2013, 04:41:42 PM »
So how are the remaining Banditos finding GTAV?

I've seen Red playing quite a bit, how are you finding it?

What about you Lutten/Jimmy, what do think?

Has Beck played, has Annihilator? If so shout up, tell us your thoughts.

Me? I've been taking the story pretty slowly and with two children under 18 months old (and two older than 18 months) finding the time to play has been difficult. The story isn't exactly gripping me so far but other than that I think the game is great. It looks beautiful, I'm loving the driving mechanics compared to VI and online seems as though it's going to be a blast. I'm still not quite feeling the whole playing as 3 characters thing though but that'll grow on me I think.

Grand Theft Auto V / Map size
« on: September 20, 2013, 05:49:32 PM »
After all the talk about the map being bigger that GTA4, San Andreas and Red Dead all put together I feel ever so slightly let down.

Loving the game don't get me wrong, but the map doesn't feel that big.

What do you guys think?

So, my original 60gb PS3 which I've had since shortly after release finally gave up the ghost a couple of days ago.

I took it to a local chap who runs a business repairing consoles & computers etc who has got it working again but now I'm not sure what to do next.

Reading up on YLOD which is what afflicted my ps3, it seems once it has taken a console down once it's only a matter of time before it returns.

Should I sell it on eBay and put the proceeds towards a new console or could there still be life in the old girl yet?

Do any of you guys have experience in this matter? If so did you get much life out of your console after the dreaded YLOD? Your help would be much appreciated.

Bugs and Glitches / Undead Overrun freezing
« on: February 16, 2012, 09:28:22 AM »
Hopefully one of you has experienced this same problem before and can help, it's been bugging me for a while now.

I bought the Undead Nightmare disc a few months ago now and after completing single player I always use that disc for MP because of the extra characters, weapons, land grab etc that the normal disc doesn't have (I've never bought any of the downloads).

The problem is that after playing UO maybe three or four times with no problems, every time I try to play it now the game freezes after 10 seconds or so forcing me to re-start my console. This has happened many times now so it's no one off.

Any suggestions? I created a new account just to see if the same thing would happen which it did.

There may be a simple fix but I'm not technically minded so if somebody could point out the obvious that would be great.

Hi all

I think I have given this posse lark a fair crack of the whip but we don't seem to have taken off as a group so it's with a heavy heart I bid you all farewell. Well not really farewell as I won't be deleting any of you who I am friends with on PSN and will happily join in a game of Red Dead should I see you online but don't want to keep feeling oblidged to check here everyday to see what's happening when nothing ever is. If you want to delete me then that's cool.

Peace out everybody,

If I'm playing RDR then 95% of the time I'm playing HCFR. I played normal for quite a while and was heavily into normal free for all shootouts for a bit but it's pretty much HCFR exclusively now.

How about you guys?

Introductions / Another newb
« on: April 21, 2011, 04:03:13 PM »
Hi all, another newb here both to this forum (which I happened to stumble across a couple of days ago) and to RDR multiplayer.

Got the game itself the day it hit the stores although played it online for the first time about a week ago would you believe (there is a good reason for this but can't be bothered to explain to be honest).

Anyway I'm loving it now and my playstation login name thingy is silebyboy. Also I'm from the UK and currently playing online most days so go easy on me please as I'm really not that great.

I like the sound of joing a posse so will have to look into that although currently only level 16 so not many of you would want me I dare say.

Thanks for reading.
