Messages - Mrs Marston

At the risk of sounding like a silly school girl, I practically squealed when I heard John's voice!  It IS true that Rob Wiethoff returns as the voice of John Marston....after he said he wasn't! I think another voice actor has returned too ...but I forgot which character? Is it Dutch...or Williamson?

Red Dead Redemption 2 / Re: Digital Download vs physical copy
« on: October 18, 2018, 07:59:28 PM »
This is the very first time that I've pre-ordered a game digitally. My internet is about average to slightly above network settings on my Xbox say my upload speed is about 80 something but that fluctuates. I really don't know what is good vs. what is bad for an internet connection speed. I will start downloading the game ASAP tomorrow!

When Arthur dies does he respawn somewhere in the same area or back at a campsite or last save location? Can't remember if they addressed this or not.

Also, when Arthur dies...what happens to his horse? Will it stay in the same area? Wander off? Go back to camp/stable?  (I know, I'm worrying way too much about my horse.)

I'm hoping to get some time into single player before getting a buttwhoopin' in multiplayer.  It will be what it will be.  I still have the basic Xbone but it should be (better be) good enough because with a big move in my future, there isn't much leeway for a new gaming system.  Not for the near future that is.

Yea, I think we will all have to get used to the new controls and all the new options to interact with things. We should have plenty of time before online comes out...and even that is only a beta so there will/should be improvements. (I still think that Rockstar is calling this a beta just so they can cover their butts in case of any problems similar to GTAV online.) Can you imagine everyone trying to get online as soon as the beta launches??!!  OMG, Rockstar better have their shit together!

Same here, I still have the basic Xbone and an S.....I'm not getting a newer Xbox anytime soon myself (or...*ahem* a PS4) as much as I'd love to.

How can we lust our preferred game modes before we know what they are?

For now you can assume similar match types to those found in RDR as well as GTA Online. Once we have confirmation of match types we can get some things arranged.

EDGE Magazine article featuring a Red Dead Redemption 2 preview. Someone has scanned the entire article to imgur. There are some spoilers, but if you don't zoom in on the text you can enjoy some new screenshots!

This is a video from Red Bandit on YouTube. He has great content...I follow him there and on Twitter. He has said that he will not post any story spoilers at all. This video is information about PSN Trophies for Red Dead Online from someone who was able to get an early copy of RDR2 (how? Idk!)

I believe it!  I say I am ready to play it...but, I know I am going to be blown away. I am most definitely intimidated by all the awesomeness this game has to offer!

Yes, I agree, Chalk....I don't mind if we have the same bonding to level up our horses, but when it better go back to the barn similar to your cars in GTA. lol! I will be seriously upset if you put that much work into your horse only to have them killed by a troll.

Red Dead Redemption 2 / Re: Online Character
« on: October 09, 2018, 06:21:01 PM »
I really hope that RDR2 online has a customization feature similar to GTAV online...maybe an even better and improved version, too!  I am hoping to have the option to make more than one character as well.  For a female character, I'd like to have her look and style similar to Sharon Stone from The Quick and the Dead movie. For a male character, I would have him look like either Clint Eastwood or John Marston. So looking forward to all the different customizations we can do not only for our character, but for our horses and guns.

Well, look what I found!  This guy makes some pretty good comparisons to a few old western movie characters.

Grand Theft Auto V / Terrorbyte Client Jobs
« on: October 04, 2018, 08:49:51 PM »
If you need to make money in GTAV Online, this week the Client Jobs in the Terrorbyte pays double $$ and RP.  This is a really fast and easy way to make extra money and if you can do these solo ...think it's like the first 4 or 5 jobs....these jobs pay really well, better than most things! There's a cool down time in between, but by the time you get to finish the last one...the first is ready to do again.

Oh, but you get a bigger bounty if you capture them alive! I really liked those missions....wish we could do more of those!
