Very sad day in Paris today. I was shocked and saddened to hear about the fire that destroyed the Notre Dame cathedral. I think they said that the northern bell tower can be saved. A monumental piece of history....devastated!

Has anyone visited the Notre Dame?

I never knew how much I could hate Blackjack until trying to complete Gambler Challenge #8!!!! Has anyone completed this one? How long did it take you?

Believe it or not...I am still slowly working on challenges. (99% completion....sooo close!) I have 2 left to complete...Gambler and Bandit. I figured that those would be fun to do so I left them for last. I have found that the YouTube channel of "GTA Series Videos" has been VERY helpful in completing some of the harder challenges. They have some great tips and tricks to get challenges done quickly and easily....especially if you have left them to do last after completing the me.

Feedback by @tonko

1. Add Hold your own and Grab the bag, fan favorites from RDR 1
2. Smaller maps, there's too much running for a 7 minute showdown
3. Option to disable ability cards in Showdown cause they're unfair to lower level players
4. Add Mexican Standoff at the start of each shwodown like in RDR 1
5. Bring Back The Announcer like in RDR 1
6. Add fist fighting in waiting lobby like in RDR 1
7. Forced weapon option like in RDR 1
8. Add option to choose which mode we want to play

Remove ability cards completely from Showdown, they make no sense on being there. Unfair to new player, creates unbalanced playing field, takes away from player's freedom, unrealistic for a Western game.
Add classic RDR 1 multiplayer PVP modes. Everyone loved those.

1. Add Nuevo Paraiso with it's locations that fans of RDR 1 loved: Chuparosa, Las Hermanas, Tesoro Azul. You know that's the next logical step and a smart move.

2. Add more prominent ambient music for certain areas like in RDR 1. For example: those trumpets that played in Nuevo Paraiso, New Austin music, Cholla Springs music. Ambient music adds up to the general atmosphere of the world.

1. The following Dead Eye ability cards are overpowered and puts new, low level players in disadvantage: Paint It Black, Slippery Bastard and Unblinking Eye.
When a low level meets a high level in Showdown, he can't do anything

Here is the new thread for everyone's ideas that they have sent to Rockstar or will send to Rockstar regarding Red Dead Online! I made it sticky so it's easier to find.

Here is a direct link to Rockstar's feedback page:

Let's all help each other send in the same ideas! Hopefully this will make an impact and let Rockstar know that we will not give up on what we want as fans!

Red Dead Online / Re: Free Roam Daily Challenges

That's because the new generation thinks RDO free roam is another battle royale like PUBG/Fortshite except they ain't gettin' no chicken dinners! It will be interesting to see what free roam will be like when they bring in that new offensive/defensive play style. My bet is that it will make things worse....much worse than it is now.

I always remember playing RDR1 and getting posse invites from randoms if I didn't have friends playing. Everyone was friendlier even after a land grab or spawn killing at the entrance of Pikes Basin. That's how I met most of my RDR friends on 360. There were only a few toxic players....everyone else was just having a good time. Miss those days...

Over all, I really think that the entire concept of Battle Royale has killed online free roam play for the casual gamers.

Sent one last week but that's the first in a while. Looking at the subreddit people seem to be much more focused on Free Roam & PVE than the Showdown Series

Yea, that seems to be the main thing people are complaining roam is boring and doesn't have enough things to engage people and keep them coming back to play more!

Well, my idea regarding feedback to Rockstar is .... and I will make another thread ... how about we list all of our things we have sent off or will send to Rockstar and each of us send in the same list of things so that each of those ideas/suggestions will be multiplied. That way we are helping each other send in the same feedback. (I hope I explained that so that it makes sense.)

What are your thoughts....good idea or are you so disgusted with Rockstar that it's not worth it anymore? I am willing to give it a try! I could also make a post on Facebook/Twitter/Discord to get the word out and at the same time get people to participate here!

UPDATE: Sorry that I have not followed up with this....had a stressful start to my week as I had to bring my dog in for surgery (doing well now). Made a separate topic to list all of our ideas for feedback.

The more I hear about this game, the more interested I become! Check this out....this guy (TagBackTV) on Youtube has recreated the town of Valentine in the early PC release of this game which will be coming soon to consoles! He has some more videos of gameplay and also does alot of RDR2 videos!

Here's an article....

What are your thoughts on this new game? Anyone on PC try it out yet?

Yea, I think I signed up for it and I've been getting emails about reward points....I just keep forgetting to check it out more often.

Oh, just a minor setback of being broke all the time. We pretty much wait every year for our tax refund as our "extra money". And this year it's going towards medical bills unfortunately. Hopefully I'll have enough left over for my Xbox live sub that's coming up very soon.

Glad to hear you guys are enjoying the Division 2! I would join you....if I had a PS4. I played the first one and liked it at first but then it got too hard to play alone and I didn't have many friends who played it and those that did were way ahead of me. I tried out the free beta for Division 2 and thought that it was a bit tougher than the first just starting out. One thing I will say is that I like the Division and how you can play with friends and have the choice of playing in co-op or PvP. That's something that Rockstar could learn from! Imagine if they made RDO gameplay the same as Division! It would be AMAZING!!!

Noticed there was a new game released this week called Generation Zero. Anyone hear about it? I think it's all a PvE co op based game where you can play with up to 4 people. Graphics look pretty nice! It's a survival type game where you are fighting against some type of robots in the 1980's. You can customize your character in '80's style!

Has anyone kept up with sending feedback to Rockstar? Or are you just fed up with them all together?

Part of me just wants to give up and find another game to get interested in. But, another part of me says not to give up hope...not now!

I am curious what all your thoughts are about sending feedback to it helping? Do you think they are paying attention to us? Or is all lost at this point?

Reason I'm asking is that I have a PLAN!!!! We just need a little faith! Ok, I know....that's getting old! LOL! But, I have an idea where we can help each other out with sending feedback to Rockstar whether or not any of us are still playing the game regularly or not.

Yea, I'm only level 32. There's not enough things to do that make a lot of money/XP or let's put it this way...not enough things to do that I LIKE. PvP as you all know is not something I can do especially when there are players that are level 100 and up. All I am is target practice. Hunting and fishing get boring fast. I also did that glitch but didn't use cougars as I couldn't get perfect pelts so I used $8 fish...made around $1200 in 2 or 3 days which is a lot for that game. All I bought was a bolt action and some of the new clothes. Most my gold is gone and I refuse to buy any with real money. I said to myself...not gonna buy any gold until Rockstar adds private sessions.

I find myself sticking to single player (at 98% completion!) and wanting to get back to GTAV online.

A location like this would be a good test case.

(Image removed from quote.)

I know exactly where that is! It is a little bit south of Van Horn...Van Horn mansion or something like that. When I was playing as Arthur, went down those stairs and there were 2 was laying on the floor and the other was sitting at a table with his head down. I thought they were dead! Then as I looked closer they were moving! There was some monayy on the table and when I went to take it the guy sitting at the table grabbed Arthur's hand. He started shooting and the other guy got up and started shooting. I was in first person mode and nailed them both with dead-eye! Definitely was one of the many WTF moments in that game!

But, yea...I was thinking about recreating some of my screenshots for comparison. I mean, just riding around looking at the scenery in the's so dull! Very similar to GTA's graphics.

Ok, the graphics downgrade is significantly noticeable to me. They took away ambient occlusion (had to look that one up)! Maybe the people who don't really notice it are the ones who have an Xbox One X and 4K TV's that have enhanced graphics or those that just don't care about graphics. Most of my screenshot collection are photos of how light reflects on different things at different times of day/night...those of you on my xbox friend list have seen some of them. I spend quite a bit of time just taking one perfect shot. I enjoy doing that and was what I thought made the game stand out above most other games. Now Rockstar have taken that away from me and many others that enjoy in game photography. Not only was this good for made the game that much more immersive. It felt so real, like you are really there and added to the mood of whatever you were doing depending on where you were.

I paid $100 for this game and after all the hype I expected it to be everything I wanted and more. Or you would expect to at least get your money's worth, right? They have taken away something that we have PAID for, something that was said to be included in the game and was raved about in pre-game screenshots. I have never been so disappointed with Rockstar than I am right now.

And if their reasoning for the downgrade is for what you said, Pug.....this is going to confirm my fears of them eventually making a remake of this game for the next generation of consoles just like they did with GTAV. If my Xbox One or S can't handle a graphics upgrade without affecting overall performance at this early in the game's development as far as new content and updates....this tells me that they might eventually stop supporting old versions of the xbox one and only support the X and whatever else is rumored to be coming out next. It only makes sense for Rockstar since all they listen to is money, money and more money.....

Just got home from work and I have been hearing that there's an update for RDO and they have done a graphics downgrade????? Is this true? Also, RDO and GTAVO are both down....not sure if that is still going on or it was just for a few hours. I'm afraid to do the update now....the graphics are the only thing they got right...that and the story.

Logged in last night for a little bit just to buy some new clothes.....aaaaaannnnd now I'm broke....but, now I won't freeze to death when I go up to the Grizzlies.

I have my doubts that Rockstar will add what I want....and basically what most people want (private sessions). I am trying to have hope that they will make things better for everyone! I mean, they HAVE to do something...people are going to go play other online games and forget about RDO. I see a lot of people on my friend list that have already moved on to other new co-op games like Division 2...friends that have played RDO and now are bored of it and have not even come back for the updates.

Just read that....I was wondering if they patched the off map to Guarma glitch. Well, at least I got there a couple of times. That was one of the very few things that I enjoyed doing in that game. Very sad.

Had to update to play story last night. They messed something up with the way the hunting knife is,um..doesn't go into the holster sits above it in a weird position. Have not noticed anything else different or if they messed up anything else in story as a result of this stupid update.

Well, if they do the same with private servers for this new game....I'd give it a try. The March 12th early access is for PC only, right? Let me know if one of y'all play it and I'll watch on Mixer/Twitch.

Rockstar better get their ass in gear if they don't want this game to take away their player base.
