Do people really fall for this? 😂

I removed the link but left the thread for comedic value

Oh man what did you do that for? I think that was my chance!

For sure there is more to come. They said the other day that their CURRENT focus was on the economy and balancing. The best way you can ensure they address the issues you want? Leave that feedback!

Now that we have a bit more information on match types, what other ideas would you like to see included for future events?

There have been a few weird instances like that that I have seen. Are you by yourself or within a posse when you try and start it?

Maybe she loses it in the time between RDR2 and RDR. The whole of McFarlane's Ranch changes a fair amount and expands so possible she lost it or sold it etc.

Ask them to try to login now and post the results. I will PM you the email address he used to sign up (where the forgotten password would appear).

Got a favor to ask since I don't know if R* will announce this on their newswire. If/Once they implement Free Aim, can someone just say it here. I'm not gonna play until then. They didn't feel the need to say at the beginning that there won't be Free Aim, so I don't know that they feel obliged to let players know once there is.
Also, I don't know if this is my age showing, but I'm REALLY put off by the aggressive pushing of the microtransactions.

Don't forget that this is just the very early stages of a beta. We don't know how much they plan to add in or change to the whole server environment (private lobbies, aim modes, etc) so bare with it whilst everyone gives their feedback.

One of the admins has to switch you over.

And just like magic, it happens!

To be fair, we don't know what kind of feedback was being left for them. It could also be a case of "here are the simple parts of the feedback we can address right now whilst we look at the rest of it and see what we can do".

They've been pretty open with this being a beta and wanting to take feedback to develop RDO into what the community wants. Keep leaving that feedback.

I just managed to get online on Xbox. I wasn't able to last night when it was meant to be released. Will get about an hour in before work today and then some more after work tonight.

Red Dead Online / What are you going to do first?

I believe there is an introduction of some sort, but after that is done I think I might go hunting. Maybe even try and find one of these enemy camps.

I wonder if there will be a spikey hair option?

I would expect very similar options to hair options you can give Arthur in the main storyline game.

As the title says, what kind of character are you going to play online?

What kind of physical traits will they have? What kind of person will they be?

I am going to try and make my character look as much like me as possible, but with a much more rugged beard.

Interesting that the news is broken by media outlets and not by Rockstar themselves. Either way I am really looking forward to it. I'll have the chance to play a couple of hours before bed and then a bit more in the morning before work.

I'll try and get the online subforum opened up and running early morning.

I cannot wait to get stuck in to Online, I have a strong feeling they're going to incorporate cross platform play going by their description on the website.

As much as I'd love this to be true I have a hard time believing that to be the case. I think Sony are still a ways off letting that happen and they seem to be the only major player really holding back crossplatform play going into the future.

I am seriously anxious to play Online and see how it is and what kind of events we get can organised and how we can make it all work. For the time being I have been playing Fallout 76 but as soon as online drops that will definitely consume me again. I do need to drop back into the single player though. Been a week or two since I put any time into it and although I've finished the main story there is still a TON of things that I need to do like the hunting challenges etc.

Wow that is amazing. I will have to clean up a bit and post a photo of my new setup I've been working with for the past year or so.

Which banner are you seeing? We did update it when the game launched, and will probably do so once we know more about Red Dead Online.

Red Dead Redemption 2 / Re: Horse name?
« on: November 13, 2018, 03:01:26 PM »
Without spoiling anything.....why is it that at the end of the story (epilogue) I can't rename my horse?  The game automatically named my thoroughbred "Rachel" and won't let me rename her at the stable? Is this a glitch or do I have to steal/buy my own in order to name/rename these horses?

It seems to me that the horse already had that name before the game "gave" it to you. So it appears to be one horse you cannot rename as it wants to force that name.

In the end I bought a horse I liked better anyway.

So for most of the game you don't seem to really venture out much into the parts of the map from the original RDR. It does lead to the questions why they would of gone through so much effort to put it in if its really unused.

Granted I love seeing McFarlane's Ranch, Armadillo and Tumbleweed all before the events of RDR. As it makes sense that you don't venture out there because in the early game we know the gang didn't seem to have ever travelled out to some of these places. But could this be leading to a thought that these areas might be more well used in a DLC expansion?

Would you like to see these parts used more in an expansion, or maybe even in Red Dead Online?
